Training at sciCORE

sciCORE offers regular courses and training in the use of HPC resources to their users.

  • We strongly encourage all new users of the cluster to attend the one-day course “Introduction to high-performance computing (sciCORE cluster)” which takes place 4 times a years.
  • Once per year, we also offer a “Best practices in High-Performance Computing” one-day course, which is aimed at researchers that want to deepen their knowledge of the usage of HPC facilities.
  • Additionnaly, several of our team members regularly contribute and teach courses organized by the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. You can review them on the SIB training website.

If you are interested in self-training, we recommend check the repository of freely accessible learning materials Glittr, which lists dozens of freely accessible course materials on various topics ranging from basic programming, to advanced statistical and computational data analysis, deep learning, or bioinformatic analysis.
